About the role:
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams at the residential aged care home. In this role, you will provide the highest quality aged care services that are consistent with aged care accreditation standards, purpose, and values. Working closely with your Care Team Manager, you'll have accountability for the day-to-day operations including clinical, administrative, financial, hospitality, maintenance, and lifestyle to effectively ensure the highest quality of life for our residents.
Key duties will include but are not limited to: Ensuring strong relationships and effective communication is maintained with residents, their families, local community, government departments, allied health representatives, and other key stakeholders. Leading, mentoring, and supporting a culture at the home that reflects purpose and values. Ensuring the home meets all governance requirements as per the aged care accreditation standards. Effective HR and WHS management. Achieving all financial objectives and KPIs of the home. Skills and experience: Experience managing high-performing teams and cultivating a positive community-centered culture whilst maintaining clinical standards. Current unrestricted APRHA registration as a Registered Nurse (Essential). Minimum 5 years' Registered Nurse experience. Current/Previous experience in Residential/Facility management within the aged care industry, otherwise a proven track record of management experience within the healthcare sector with solid ACFI knowledge. Demonstrated hands-on experience in meeting relevant government and statutory requirements. Demonstrated experience in developing and monitoring budgets that align with agreed KPIs. Ability to balance strategic organisational objectives with high-quality clinical outcomes. Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
