GRADUATE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LTTS is a reputable, locally owned and operated business offering assessments and therapy to a wide range of clients, including paediatric, Educational, Community-based, Disability, and Aged Care groups. We have a multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health professionals who provide services (Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Positive Behavioral Support) to Outreach clients in rural, regional, and remote areas of Queensland.
We are seeking Graduate Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic team, operating on the cutting edge of health intervention! The successful candidate will be motivated to grow their career and possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, prioritisation, and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, make decisions, meet deadlines, and delegate.
You will be responsible for: Delivering quality OT services across a number of generalist clinical areas Working across multimodal delivery to best support the needs of the client - e.g. telehealth and face to face Working collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team Working with culturally sensitive practices for clients to deliver quality clinical services Actively participate in LTTS team clinical environments to ensure that OT services are integrated, efficient, and equitable for the community serviced Supporting in the development and maintenance of assessment/therapy materials to ensure the service performed by LTTS is innovative and cutting edge Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within a team and by engaging in professional development activities For You: Diverse role with plenty of variety in caseload and in clinical/community settings Fantastic team of multi-disciplinary professionals who support one another Structured New Grad program to assist the establishment of learning and support Access to extensive Professional Development to expand your skills Industry-leading mentorship and training opportunities Work/life balance - flexibility available based on individual needs Position can be managed to suit casual, part-time, or full-time About You: Graduated/Graduating Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply Have Membership or eligibility for SPA registration and the ability to apply for Medicare Services Willingness to function autonomously and as part of a team Willingness to participate in self-development and ongoing training Experience in Educational, Disability, and/or Community processes is preferred but not mandatory * Travel is an element of this role within the outreach context – this opportunity can be based in a variety of community/clinic settings – either from the larger metropolitan base of Brisbane or in a regional community such as Biloela, Blackwater, Charleville, Emerald, Gladstone, Rockhampton, and Toowoomba *
