Workplace Training & Assessment (Education & Training)
As a Capability Development Educator, you will help to support a culture of capability development and effective onboarding.
You will promote a culture of coaching, development, and learning as you support managers/team leaders in their provision of regular on-the-job coaching, classroom training, online learning, and competency assessments.

Your Contribution Work with the leadership team to create a culture of learning and progression across the site.
Provide education to staff that delivers person-centred care and excellent clinical care standards.
Plan and facilitate education programs that develop clinical capability and meet our mandatory training requirements.
Implement a yearly education calendar and support with the monitoring of learning transfer and growth across staff groups.
Work across a diverse staff demographic and role function to determine the capability development requests and progression pathways.
Identify skills and knowledge gaps in employees and develop appropriate solutions to address employee learning and development needs.
Support the delivery of other functional education that supports a capable and healthy environment for employees, volunteers, and residents.
Ensure education is delivered in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards, quality review outcomes, and any other industry-based requirements or regulations.
Maintain updated training records within relevant learning platforms.
The Essentials Cert IV Training/Assessment or equivalent with currency and evidence of updates.
Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN or EEN with clinical aged care experience.
Broad general nursing experience and previous experience in a similar role with line supervisor references.
Experience in educating a multi-disciplinary team, preferably in aged care.
Demonstrated face-to-face training delivery experience or skills.
Demonstrated supervisory and coaching experience of employees.
Demonstrated ability to identify education requirements, source and deliver appropriate education in response to identified needs, and evaluate outcomes of education delivery.
Applied knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and government policies that impact on aged care.
Knowledge and understanding of dementia care.
Computer literacy and systems aptitude including Microsoft Office (essential).
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
A Current National Criminal Record Check suitable for aged care or be willing to obtain.
