Job title: Aged Care Admissions Coordinator Job Summary: Good Shepherd Lodge in Mackay, Queensland is seeking an experienced Aged Care Admissions Coordinator to facilitate a smooth admissions process for residents and provide a positive experience for all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping residents live life on their own terms and creating a lifestyle they love.
You will have: Exceptional communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational abilitiesAbility to work well under pressureEmpathy and compassion towards elderly residentsA 'can do', friendly and outgoing personalityWhat you'll be doing: Manage all enquiries, meetings, tours and admissions for all residents, maintaining high standards of customer service between residents and their representatives, as well as all members of the clinical and support services teams.Take enquiries and provide application packs to interested people via email or in person.Set up a display room for facility tours and provide facility tours for potential residents and their families.Participate in public events to promote the supported living/integrated care environment at both of our sites.Communicate effectively with families, staff, and external agencies involved in the admission process.Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.Conduct assessments of potential residents to determine appropriate care needs.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.Provide ongoing support to residents and their families throughout the admission process.Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in aged care administration.Knowledge of aged care regulations, standards and funding model.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Clinical knowledge would be advantageous.What we offer: Above Award rates supported by our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.5 weeks annual leave per year with leave loading.Salary packaging benefits to increase your take home salary and novated leasing options available.Fitness Passport.Social Club.Sonder - Employee health, wellness and safety partner.Reward and Recognition program.A great team environment.Apply Now: Good Shepherd Lodge have been providing quality care since 1974.
