A professional and loving family in Balmain are seeking a positive and engaging nanny to assist with the household and care for their 3 happy and active children (12 yr old boy, 10 yr old girl and 7 yr old boy).
The days and normal hours are: 5 days – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Flexibility on start and finish times for the right candidate.
An ideal nanny will be warm, positive, calm and level-headed. A mature nanny with life experience, organised and able to work off own initiative with minimal instruction, and the ability to see tasks that will help the household run well. You will also need to be able to work with the children's routines and have organisational skills to manage the busy afternoons with experience supporting children to manage afternoon activities and homework.
Reliability, communication skills and professionalism are also valued. Strong English skills are required for good communication.
The role will mostly consist of arriving at the home to complete light household tasks, run errands, pick up the children from school, take them to activities, engage with them, have a break and then work on homework and prepare the evening meal.
The family are seeking a nanny who has a strong desire to engage with the children and build a relationship with each of them. Looking for someone who will assist in creating structure and a positive environment within the home.
