About the position We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of After-Hours Coordinator to oversee the operations of Seymour Health outside of normal business hours, which includes emergency management response.
The role of the After-Hours Coordinator is to successfully oversee the operations of Seymour Health by:
Effectively managing nursing staff and other personnel to achieve safe, high-quality service delivery across the organisation.Providing clinical support as required in the Acute, Aged Care, and Urgent Care settings.Responding to, investigating, and following up incident reports in a timely manner (clinical, OHS, or other).Identifying mandatory reporting requirements as they arise (ensuring compliance with Aged Care, Occupational Health and Safety, Childsafe, and NDIS legislation).Managing clinical and non-clinical roster shortfalls across the organisation and ensuring compliance with the Safe Patient Care Act 2015.Managing emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, ensuring the safety of all staff and consumers (acting as Chief Warden).Supporting an organisational culture that reflects Seymour Health's organisational values and behaviours.About you Along with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Seymour Health achieve its vision and values, the successful applicant will have:
