Barrabill House is a 40-bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.

About the positionWe are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of After-Hours Coordinator to oversee the operations of Seymour Health outside of normal business hours which includes emergency management response.
The role of the After-Hours Coordinator is to successfully oversee the operations of Seymour Health by:
Effectively managing nursing staff and other personnel to achieve safe, high quality service delivery across the organisationClinical support as required in the Acute, Aged Care and Urgent Care settingsResponding to, investigating and following up incident reports in a timely manner (clinical, OHS or other)Identifying mandatory reporting requirements as they arise (ensuring compliance with Aged Care, Occupational Health and Safety, Childsafe, and NDIS legislation)Managing clinical and non-clinical roster shortfalls across the organisation and ensuring compliance with the Safe Patient Care Act 2015.Managing emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner ensuring safety of all staff and consumers (acting as Chief Warden).Supporting an organisational culture that reflects Seymour Health's organisational values and behaviours.About youAlong with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Seymour Health achieve its vision and values, the successful applicant will have:
