Aeris Resources are seeking applications from experienced Shot Firers at our Cracow Gold Operations located in Central Queensland.
Our family friendly 8/6, 7/7 roster is offered on a residential/DIDO/FIFO basis.
About the role Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will have demonstrated underground experience as follows: Demonstrated experience in all aspects of charge up; experience with ANFO production charging, up and down holes will be highly regarded; Development - lateral and decline; Hold a current Qld Shotfirer Licence; 3+ years Underground Mining experience; High levels of safety compliance and leadership; Be self-motivating and have a positive attitude; A strong commitment to lead and foster the development of a positive safety culture to improve standards; Current and Valid Open Manual Australian Drivers Licence; Good written and verbal communication skills; What we offer: 8/6 7/7 Day/Night rotating roster; 5 Weeks Annual Leave; Flights, Meals & Accommodation provided by the company OR $15,000 Net Residential Allowance to reside locally; Working directly for the Mine Owner/Operator; Safety, health and wellness We believe that a safe place of work is created and maintained by all team members.
