Osborne Richardson is partnering with a Local Government client in Melton, Victoria, to recruit an experienced Advocacy Officer for an initial 5-month contract. This exciting opportunity involves working on key advocacy priorities with a strong focus on writing and content development.
Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development, coordination, and execution of Council's advocacy initiatives, aimed at securing investments from government and non-government stakeholders.Perform integrated planning and analysis across departments, undertaking research to provide evidence-based support for Council's advocacy priorities.Prepare high-quality written materials, including briefing documents, submissions, and reports, to advance Council's advocacy goals.About You:Tertiary qualifications in policy development, political science, international relations, communications, or a related discipline, paired with relevant experience.
