We are currently recruiting for an Advisor - Training who will report directly into the Superintendent – Training, this role is being offered on a 7:7 roster.
This role is responsible for delivering quality technical training and assessment in accordance with relevant legislation and professional standards underpinned by Newmont's values. You will identify skills gaps and enhance employee performance in the achievement of Newmont's performance targets and support Newmonts people by:
Developing and delivering quality training and assessment Providing supervision and development of Crew Field Trainers, Assessors and Business Partners Maintaining compliance with Newmont Training Management System Effectively interacting and communicating with the Supervisors, Field Trainers & Assessors, Safety Advisors, external Training Providers and internal stakeholders A day in the life may include: Support leaders on site in creating training plans for their operational areas Facilitate and collaborate with Trainers to ensure the delivery of quality training and assessment of teams on site Develop and review assessment resources whilst maintaining industry competency Deliver training to Newmont employees and partners About you: You will be able to build strong relationships with people at all levels as well as well as have strong communication and presenting skills. You will have your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or above and have experience of working in a similar role.
