VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation.
The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history.
This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program.
Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.
About this Opportunity The Advisor, Procurement reports to the Deputy Director, Procurement and Category Management in administering a range of procurement and contract management activities within the goods and services procurement function at the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA).
This includes enhancing policies, templates, and processes, managing procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
The position provides specialist advice on procurement issues and collaborates with stakeholders through effective negotiation and cooperation to ensure alignment and smooth execution throughout the procurement lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in procurement and contract management systems.
They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and manage stakeholders.
