Adviser, Employee Communications

THE ROLE: The Employee Communications team is part of the Communication and Marketing Branch, within the Simplified Trade, Communication and Marketing Division.
The team's role is to inform and inspire Austrade staff and ensure employees understand the agency's strategic priorities and their role in delivering on them.
We are recruiting for an APS5 role to join this small, busy team.
The position reports to the EL1 team manager.Given our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Austrade actively encourages applications from people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ people, women, and people with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds for all of our roles.Duties include: Editing, writing and publishing content on Austrade's intranet.Collating, writing and publishing a weekly all-staff email newsletters and regular staff-segment emails, and publishing ad hoc all-staff communications.Organising and facilitating online live events.Providing communications advice and guidance to other teams across Austrade and supporting Executive communication needs.Gathering and analysing user-engagement data from all relevant platforms.CLASSIFICATION: APS 5LOCATION: Canberra - ACT, Melbourne - VIC, Sydney - NSWSALARY: $86,485 - $93,700 CLOSING DATE:Applications close Sunday, 17 November 2024 at 11:30pm (AEDT).
