We are The Gabber Newspaper, a Florida hyperlocal weekly print newspaper with a digital presence that covers Gulfport/South Pinellas County.
We are seeking a dynamic Advertising Sales Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and advertising, with a strong background in acquiring print media clients.
You:Reliable, regular transportationPlays well with othersAbility to relocate to Gulfport, FL 33707 before starting work (Required)Proven experience in sales, client acquisition, Newspaper or Magazine advertisingFamiliarity with Smart PublisherUs:Assistance with lead generation, appointment setting, and contractsSmall staff in the heart of downtown GulfportDog-friendly workplaceOwned by a husband and wife team with almost 50 combined years in the news side of journalism.The position pays $45,000/year, plus commission on total net revenue estimated to at least double the base rate.
