The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adventure/Water Park Venue Manager to manage exciting projects, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and increase staff engagement levels at this facility.
Responsible for driving business and reach through the rollout of innovative marketing strategies, you are accountable for the facility's operational, financial, and program deliverables.
This is largely a 'hands-on' role - not based behind a desk.
You will be setting the standards in FOH, Retail, Licensed Café, Mini Golf, Online Bookings, and Marketing.
The centre is located in the Cairns Region, which attracts a high volume of international and interstate visitors.
We require an individual that is proactive and experienced in driving marketing campaigns and creating impressionable guest experiences for our visitors each and every time.
Candidates with hospitality and tourism experience will be highly regarded.
This is a full-time position and would require the successful incumbent to be available weekends, public holidays, and school holidays as the venue's opening hours are as such.

Essential Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing a team Experience driving tourism or hospitality operations with evidence of success Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes Identify and troubleshoot faults, maintenance issues, customer complaints, and concerns Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes Reliable and have the ability to work autonomously Proven track record in managing and coaching staff effectively Roster & Timesheet Management Ability to cope under pressure - we get busy!
