Description Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)Salary: MDP-2 $89,253 - $144,291 p.a. + superannuation and salary packagingEmployment Type: Full-time, temporaryTraining Program Duration: 24 months from 4 August 2025Contract Term: 3 years, in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise AgreementThis is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest in Geriatric Medicine to undertake specialized training with Aged and Extended Care Services, a professorial geriatric medicine service affiliated with the University of Adelaide.
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract.
The advanced training positions are based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, one of South Australia's leading acute referral, teaching, and research centres.
The hospital features:20-bed inpatient psychogeriatric medicine unitThe hospital is also undergoing a $314 million redevelopment to introduce state-of-the-art general rehabilitation inpatient facilities, complementing existing day rehabilitation services.
