ABOUT YOU As an Advanced Practitioner – Family Safety , you will take a leading role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services aligned with the NTV Minimum Standards.
Working closely with the Team Leader, you will provide expert mentoring, feedback, and support to Men's Behaviour Change Facilitators and Case Management Practitioners.
This role focuses on fostering continuous development and promoting best practices across the team.
In addition, you will deliver specialised knowledge and advice, supervise less experienced staff, and support the program's planning, rostering, and delivery.

Key skills and attributes: You love to learn and improve in a caring consistently engaging and challenging environment.
Proven ability to identify and manage risks to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals and families experiencing family violence You have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in conducting comprehensive risk assessments in family violence context, including the use of evidence-based tools and frameworks such as the MARAM framework You are confident in writing and communicating, enabling you to provide effective assessments and evaluations Strong understanding of the complexities of family violence, including risk factors, warning signs, and the impact on children, families, and communities.
Experience in developing and implementing tailored safety plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders You are a driven advocate to support families to achieve long-term positive outcomes Your highly developed cultural awareness and sensitivity, partnered with excellent communication skills, will enable you to build strong relationships, with our stakeholders.
