In this key role, you will be accountable for the successful development, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and aligning practice with policy. You will contribute to fostering a safe, positive work culture that directly benefits patient outcomes while building the capacity and capabilities of the team. Your expertise will help identify and drive improvements within the NOC, ensuring that practices are continually refined to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare system.
As the Continuous Improvement Lead, you will provide strategic leadership and collaborate closely with the Director, Operations and Performance, to manage demand and capacity across the CALHN Network. You will be responsible for supporting state-wide program initiatives, contributing to policy development, and managing projects that drive organisational change. By working with internal and external advisory groups, you will help shape the future of healthcare in South Australia, ensuring that improvements are implemented system-wide for the benefit of all. About You We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Advanced Nurse Consultant. To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following key requirements:
Qualifications: Registered Nurse/Midwife with a current practising certificate or eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Leadership & Experience: Proven leadership abilities with experience in change management, policy development, and project management in complex healthcare settings.Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, along with the ability to work autonomously and foster consumer engagement initiatives.Knowledge: A solid understanding of project management frameworks, quality improvement systems, contemporary healthcare issues, and relevant legislation and standards.About CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South's Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
