About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958.
It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria.
The Court hears over 12,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year.
The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters.
In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder, and related offences.
There are a total of 80 Judges of the Court and over 300 staff, including judicial support staff.
The County Court regularly conducts circuit sittings at 12 circuit courts situated in major centres throughout regional Victoria.

About the Role This role provides advanced case management support to people on bail or deferral of sentencing with a range of complex needs who are participating in the CISP program, with a focus on supporting high risk clients.
It also provides practice leadership and mentoring to other frontline staff.
The Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) is a front-end diversion program which offers a coordinated approach to the assessment and treatment of accused at the pre-trial or bail stage.
It provides case management support and links participants to support services such as drug and alcohol treatment, crisis accommodation, disability services and mental health services.
CISP aims to improve treatment, court, sentence and re-offending outcomes for program participants by providing regular case management support and links to health and social care services.
Historically CISP has only been available in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, however this program has been funded for an 18-month pilot in the County Court of Victoria.
The role is required to provide advanced case management to people on bail with a range of complex needs, with a focus on clients presenting with a high level of risk in a way that is responsive to and inclusive of their diverse needs and backgrounds.
The role will also: * Support the identification and implementation of practice improvements that will enhance the quality of the CISP program's response to clients with family violence, disability, mental health and/or AOD.
* Access, coordinate and monitor the delivery of a range of treatments and supports for clients, including housing, alcohol/drug treatment, specialist ABI supports, family violence interventions and mental health treatment.
* Identify client risks and develop risk management and/or harm minimisation strategies in relation to these risks.
* Prepare and present written court reports and provide expert advice or evidence to the Court, as required.
* Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders within the family violence, disability, mental health and AOD sectors.
* Liaise, consult and negotiate with the judiciary, legal profession and court staff in relation to the management of clients within the court process and provide advice regarding the availability of appropriate services and programs.
* Actively reflect upon own practice and identify and participate in professional development opportunities About You You will have: * Extensive experience in the assessment and case management of clients with complex needs.
* Detailed knowledge of at least one of the following service sectors - family violence, disability, mental health or AOD.
* Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
* Sound knowledge of evidenced-informed practice models and frameworks for working with clients with complex family violence, disability, mental health and/or AOD needs.
