The role focuses on the introduction and nurturing of prospective students, compliance with government regulations, and administrative functions related to the enrolment journey.The Admissions Consultant role is a key member of the Admissions Team in developing relationships with and managing enquiries and applications for prospective MLC families. Contributing to the achievement of recruitment targets by supporting a high-quality admissions service, as well as assisting in recruitment activities.You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, work in a fast-paced environment, have a high attention to detail, and understand 'customer' needs, and be willing to learn and develop individually and in a team. Prior experience in admissions is highly regarded.Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:Introduction and nurturing of prospective students and parents to the educational opportunities at MLC.Reinforcing the College's Vision, mission, values and of key importance value proposition and supporting information to prospective parents.Statutory compliance with government regulationsProvision of administrative functions connected with the enrolment journey.Liaise with Family Accounts to support any late enrolments or enrolment payment issues including refunds as required.Apply legislation, policies and procedures in relation to the admissions processes to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.The schoolMLC is a leading independent girls' day and boarding school in the inner east of Melbourne.
