The Opportunity: UGL Utilities division is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a Power Station project based in the Hunter Valley region.
The Project: Located in the small suburb of Loxford in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, approximately three km north of the town of Kurri Kurri, and approximately 35 km west of Newcastle and 125 km north of Sydney.
The Hunter Power Station Project is expected to have approximately 660 megawatts and will be generated via two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines.
Key Responsibilities will include: Enter/Upload high volume of timesheets into SAP payrollFollow up on any inconsistencies or missing timesheetsLiaise with Project Administrators for correct coding of timesheetsAssist others in the team with timesheet entry to ensure payroll deadlines are metProcess any changes required before sign-offUnderstand and answer basic queries relating to Enterprise Agreements (EA's) and Contract of Employment (COE's)Address payroll queries in a timely mannerTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Minimum 2 years' experience in time sheeting and payroll processSelf-motivated and proactive with a high level of attention to detailAdvanced Excel and computer skillsSAP Experience (Advantageous)Strong attention to detail with accurate word processing and data entry skillsAbility to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlinesAbout Us: UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water, and defence markets.
