About the Role
Randstad is partnering with a successful electrical business in North Brisbane to hire an Administration Assistant to support their dynamic Utilities & Resources division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the team. From managing documentation to coordinating schedules and ensuring exceptional customer service, you will contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
Your Responsibilities
Maintain tools, equipment, and safety registers, including scheduling maintenance.
Manage onboarding documentation (emails, system access, templates).
Ensure accurate document control and standard/template document maintenance.
Oversee client induction processes.
Track deliveries and orders.
Follow up on invoices and liaise with suppliers.
Manage project documentation, including downloading drawings, maintaining registers, and transmitting documents through platforms like Aconex or TeamBinder.
Support project managers with printing and preparing project plans and site registers.
Set up and manage tender files and folders.
Assist with documentation downloads, addendum management, and RFQ development.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a general administrative support role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using accounting software such as Pronto (advantageous).
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
A professional attitude and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently.
