About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for full-time Generalised Administrator to join the team at our Newman, WA location. In this role you will provide administrative support to enable the most productive use of resources in the Newman Mining Services Division, as well as support the safe execution of project works across the Pilbara region of WA. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, result driven and able to work independently as well as in a team. Key Responsibilities General administrative operations including; answering phones, emails, filing and scanning; Provide general administrative support to the General Manager and the division; Timesheet entry including; wage spreadsheets for employees and subcontractors, man hours, claim spreadsheets; Help to maintain policies and procedures to keep in line with industry regulations; Mobilisation and demobilisation support, including onboarding for new staff and subcontractors, site access submission, coordination of flights and accommodation; Basic document control; Raising purchase orders and work orders; Maintaining internal systems; Co-ordination and monitoring of staff training and certificates; Updating all registers; Organisation of corporate and staff events; Other general administrative support as required. Skills and Experience Previous experience in an Administrative role; Exposure to, and understanding of, the mining and/or construction industry; Current drivers' licence; Planning and organisational skills to deliver on time; Communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships; Attention to detail.
