About the role: Victoria Police is currently advertising two (2) Administrative/Property officer positions within Southern Metro Region, Division One. These positions are located at Malvern Police Station (1) and St. Kilda Police Station (1), within the City of Stonnington. As a successful applicant, you will be part of an established team providing high level administrative support to frontline policing. The role will include ensuring that property is managed and stored according to governance and legislative requirements.

Your duties will include: Undertake a range of station administration including:Updating and managing station brief books.Filing correspondence, archiving, and clearing station mail.Manage and record lost/confiscated property while accurately updating Victoria Police computer database.Assist station commanders with property audits and monthly reporting.Prepare routine correspondence, financial, personnel and various other transactions and provide follow up when required.Attend to telephone and counter inquiries to members of the public and external stakeholders.About You: The successful candidates will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Provide daily administrative support within a dynamic work environment.Utilise competent computer skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and systems relevant to the role.Have well developed written and oral communication skills.Have well developed reading and comprehension skills to read court findings and instructions on property.Provide quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work.Understand the sensitivities and confidentiality around a policing environment and the nature of the work performed.Further Information: The full-time position is located at St. Kilda Police Complex, 92 Chapel Street, St Kilda, 3182.$56,834 - $72, 985 plus superannuation pro-rata (0.9 FTE/68.4hrs per fortnight), estimated salary $51,150 per annum.The part-time position is located at Malvern Police Complex, 288 Glenferrie Road, Malvern, 3144.Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.We expect our people to foster a safe and inclusive environment where their behaviour and attitude reflects, builds upon and promotes a positive and collaborative workplace that respects the culture and values of Victoria Police.Your application must include: ResumeCompleted application form – the word document (2.
