This advertised position provides administrative support to our very busy Counselling and Psychological Services area which manages the movements and attendance of our large student population. Working as part of a small team, the role will involve both face-to-face student contact and administrative tasks including supporting the Director as well as data entry and reporting.
If you have patience, empathy and understanding relating to the pastoral care of our students, your commitment to excellence in all areas, and demonstrated pro-active approach to all tasks, from assisting students in need and working independently to streamline administration will serve you well.
We are looking for outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills with an ability to engage on different levels, particularly with young men, as well as our extended School Community is essential.
In addition to involvement across the daily life of the School, there will be opportunities to participate in the School's comprehensive pastoral, sporting and co-curricular programs. Support for the Christian ethos and wider Christian ministry of the school is expected.
This is a full-time opportunity (38 hours per week, during school terms only).
The successful candidate will need to provide a current Working with Children clearance, a current First Aid certificate and be willing to undertake training (online) in Child Protection prior to commencement.
The anticipated salary will be dependent on the knowledge, skills and attributes of the successful applicant, within the range of $74 - $81K pa (plus 11.5% superannuation).
