Job DescriptionLotus Place is a dedicated support service and resource centre for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings. Lotus Place provides integrated peer support, advocacy, counselling, and other support services to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings. Lotus Place exists in three locations: Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Townsville from which outreach to surrounding communities occurs through an integrated funding response by the Australian and Queensland governments.
Lotus Place is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Administration Worker to join our team in Northern Queensland. Our organisation is committed to providing services and support to individuals and families affected by sexual abuse and trauma. The Administration Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our office, allowing us to continue our vital work in the community.
This is a permanent full time employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 2 of the SCHADS Award. Desired Skills and ExperienceWe are seeking candidates with the following skills & experience:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a client or customer facing role preferably working with vulnerable people.Current understanding of, or commitment to develop an understanding of the issues impacting on people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings.Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional administrative support to the Lotus Place team, including but not limited to calendar management, coordinating meetings, and responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by the team.Process and maintain accurate records of client information, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to privacy policies and procedures.Manage the procurement and maintenance of office supplies, ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness.How to Apply!
