About the Role Are you studying and seeking part-time casual work in a professional administration team? This could be the perfect role for you. We have an exciting opportunity in our busy professional team in southern Tasmania as an Administration and Valuer Support Officer.
This role typically involves administrative support for valuers who operate throughout Tasmania completing varying valuations, including on commercial and residential properties. If you are confident, hold excellent communication skills, are articulate, and hold good computer skills, we encourage you to apply.
The incumbent can expect rostered hours to vary weekly, however will range approximately between 8 to 12 hours per week (decided by work demand) spread over 4-hour shifts. Shifts are rostered between Monday and Friday only.
Casual employment is an hourly rate with all entitlements included in the hourly rate, paid weekly. Rate of pay is in accordance with the award. This role falls under Clerks - Private Sector 2020 award. Superannuation will be paid accordingly depending on hours worked or weekly wage.

The role is best suited to a student currently studying. The position is an interactive role with demanding deadlines.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities Supporting the valuation team including data entry and editing correspondence and valuation reports, photocopying, scanning, and emailing documents, and following up information for the valuation team. Data entry; using various industry-based software. Establishing and maintaining records. Communicating with and assisting valuation staff, including directing and addressing client enquiries. Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries. Software and computer skills using our unique online systems; training will be provided. High level demonstrated oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information. Good computer literacy, including ability to quickly acquire skill using industry-based software taught in the role. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously. Excellent time management skills, including being able to complete tasks accurately and within a timely manner. Skills and Experience Applicants pursuing a tertiary qualification in a property related field are desirable candidates. This includes degrees such as Bachelor of Business (Property). People with experience in the property industry or client-focused roles are looked upon favorably.
