Join our hard-working team based in Coopers Plains. This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of an administration team that provides efficient and effective support to the Forensic Pathology and Coronial Services teams at Coronial and Public Health Sciences, Coopers Plains. The position will ensure the team's compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures and agreed service specifications and performance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster continuous learning within the team by coaching others, and seeking to develop advanced technical expertise, pursuing professional development and leadership skills.Mentor team members to facilitate successful succession plans.Arrange weekly roster of tasks for the team and ensure all daily tasks on roster are covered if team member is unable to work due to illness or unplanned leave.Participate (where required) in any projects or ad hoc tasks requested by FPaCS leadership.Provide administrative support to the teams within FPaCS at Coronial and Public Health Sciences, Coopers Plains.Lead, influence, and drive staff to embrace the opportunities of change within the organisation by leading change management and project management activities.Proactively identify, manage, and resolve operational issues and risks, considering the impact across the service.Represent Administration Services at various committees, meetings and working groups relevant to administration functions.Key Selection CriteriaDemonstrated ability to assist in leading and managing a team in a high performing environment, including leading implementation of key aspects of a Human Resource Management framework such as recruitment, performance management and performance planning for staff.Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills including the ability to liaise, advise and interact with all levels of management, staff and stakeholders.Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, vendors and corporate divisions stakeholders.Demonstrated high level of autonomy and flexibility in response to change and support the workforce to embrace new expectations through clarity of the intended outcomes.High attention to detail with experience in quality checking own and others work to ensure accuracy, procedures are followed, and a high level of quality is maintained.Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.How to ApplyPlease provide the following information to the panel to assess your suitability:A short-written response (maximum 1-2 pages, dot points acceptable) on how your experience, abilities, knowledge and personal qualities would enable you to achieve the key responsibilities and meet the skill requirements of the role.Your current CV or resume, including two referees who have a thorough knowledge of your capabilities, work performance and conduct within the previous two years.
