About the role: The Probity/Records & Disclosure Unit forms part of the PSC Intelligence, Innovation and Risk Division and comprises of an Inspector, Senior Sergeant, VPS4, VPS3 and VPS2 employees. The Probity/Records Unit's purpose is to prepare, generate and disseminate Probity Reports for the organisation in addition to Records and filing of Professional Standards Command Files. The Disclosure Unit manage all requests made to Professional Standards Command relating to disclosure of Professional Standards investigations, ROCSID history and Policy.

Your duties will include: Maintaining accurate computer and manual management information of employee discipline records. Provide administrative support to the division including the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records/registers and the collation of data and information on confidential and sensitive material Attend to telephone and email enquiries from personnel; provide initial information and advice as required according to policy and legislation Preparation of reports and correspondence. Receive record and distribute mail and correspondence. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated ability to accurately maintain computer and manual information systems, including the ability to accurately maintain and update administrative records Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment including the ability to deal with challenging information Due to the sensitive nature of internal investigations a successful applicant will need strong communication skills, demonstrate emotional intelligence and display levels of empathy, as well as display a sound understanding and adherence to information security. Requirements and relevant information: This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
