Remote: Home based, with some travel for meetingsClosing 6th December 2024Advertised from 13th November 202415 hours per month for which we are offering £400 per month on a rolling basis.RoleThe Astley Ainslie Community Trust is a charity working to achieve community ownership of the Astley Ainslie hospital in Edinburgh when the NHS vacate the site. We have 750 local members, and a wider community of people interested in the future of the site.We are looking for someone to help with the Trust's day-to-day administrative functions including managing our communication channels (email, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram), updating our website, handling membership queries, and the day-to-day accounts of the organization.Key service requirements:Secretary to the Trustees - organizing agendas, scheduling meetings, taking and distributing minutesCommunications - email, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, WebsiteMembership administrationAccounts administration.We are looking for a person who will be:Well organized and familiar with modern communication platforms (Squarespace, MailChimp, Facebook, X, Instagram).Familiar with the requirements of working on a self-employed basis (e.g., covering own tax and insurance etc.) and perhaps with a portfolio of similar contracts.Comfortable engaging with volunteers and members of the public.We would expect provision of these services to occupy approximately 15 hours per month for which we are offering £400 per month on a rolling basis.Application notesIf you are interested in providing these services, please send a cover letter and details of your experience to note that Hillcrest Futures do not hold a licence to sponsor any visa applications at present.#J-18808-Ljbffr
