About us:
The First Steps Parenting Service provides multi-disciplinary support to families. Our permanent clinical staff include social workers, nurses, and paediatricians, with additional clinical support from other services including a speech pathologist and child psychologist. The successful candidate will become part of an exceptional team where each member brings unique strengths and experiences, but what sets us apart is how well we work together.
About the role: As the Administrative Officer, you will provide clerical support to the multidisciplinary team and act as the primary point of contact for the public. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming calls, managing the email inbox, and overseeing the processing of both incoming and outgoing mail. You will also be responsible for overseeing data entry related to child behaviour and caregiver checklist information, as well as managing both electronic and physical patient records. Additionally, you will record and log maintenance requests and manage the booking system for fleet cars, ensuring efficient scheduling and availability.
The position is for 24hrs per week over 3 days.
