This is an excellent opportunity to join the Recovery at Work Team which is part of HNE's Safety and Risk Team.
Our supportive and experienced team service the Hunter New England LHD in assisting staff to recover from injuries at work.
About the Recovery at Work Team and the Role: The successful candidate will be providing administrative support to the team around gathering injury information and the lodgement of new Workers' Compensation claims, the calculation of Workers' Compensation weekly benefits as well as completing general administrative tasks such as Rosters – communicating with roster support, weekly pay files, setting up and onboarding new starters, procurement and updating the intranet.
About you: We are seeking a proactive team player that is able to organise and prioritise incoming tasks to ensure the team's objectives are met.
The successful candidates will be a strong communicator who is able to develop professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be joining a very supportive team and receive training in the form of online modules as well as one-on-one training from your colleagues.
Experience within Workers' Compensation is preferred; however, if you have strong organisational, computer and communication skills, you will be provided with thorough training to excel in this role.
