An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused and adaptable administrator to join our People and Culture team in this diverse role. This is an excellent chance to broaden your administration experience and expand your knowledge in the field of Human Resources with East Gippsland's largest employer.
Contract: Ongoing, Part Time, 48 hours per fortnight
The Position: In this role you will provide administration support to the People and Culture department to ensure administrative workflows in the department occur in an efficient and timely manner. Areas of responsibility include administering employee onboarding and exiting, coordination of interviews and contracts, and maintaining department records and databases.
With a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS) being implemented in the future it is an exciting time to join our team and learn an online employee management system. This role is worked as part of a job share arrangement in the department's reception area, where you will often be the first point of contact for internal and external customers. The position is suited to someone who enjoys people interaction, process-driven work and can multi-task whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail. Contracted hours may be negotiable, please advise of your preferred hours. Contracted hours between 32 and 64 hours per fortnight may be negotiable in the future. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of two years' Administration experience and Certificate III in Business Administration (or relevant equivalent)Proven experience working within established procedures and the ability to learn new processes, apply new information and think critically about potential outcomesGood communication skills with the ability to provide excellent, customer-focused serviceA high attention to detail with excellent organisational ability in a busy working environmentExcellent skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office with experience working in databasesWhy should you Apply?
