About Monash Health Imaging Monash Health Imaging (MHI) provides a comprehensive suite of diagnostic and interventional radiology and nuclear medicine services across Monash Medical Centre, Victorian Heart Hospital, Monash Children's Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Pakenham Health Centre, Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre, and the Kingston Centre.
The service conducts over 420,000 imaging examinations per year and employs approximately 600 staff.
Our vision is to provide the best imaging and interventional radiology services for our community, and, to be the leading academic radiology provider in Australia.
About the Role The Imaging Program Administration Team provides direct support to the members of the Imaging Program Leadership Team consisting of the Program Director, General Manager, Deputy Program Director (Quality and Safety) & Deputy Director (Research & Education) as well as broader accountabilities supporting program-wide governance, medical team administration, research, education, and planning.
There are four Imaging Program Administration Assistants reporting to the Imaging Program Administration Manager, and each will have a primary support portfolio.
In addition to their primary portfolio, all four Administration Assistants and the Manager deliver a large range of additional Program Administration activities.
About You The successful applicant is an administrative professional, customer oriented approach with organisational and interpersonal skills who is wanting to work in a dynamic and supportive team.
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:   Experience in an administration assistant role   2 or more years' experience within a healthcare environment (radiology preferred)   Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite   Professional discretion and diplomacy and ability to handle confidential material.
Excellent time management and organisational skills   Ability to always deal with difficult matters in a professional manner, and to be able to work under pressure when certain situations arise   Ability to effectively communicate with multi-function streams and diverse stakeholders   Effective negotiation skills   Excellent written and verbal communication skills   Ability to prioritise own workload, multiple tasks and meet deadlines   As a Monash Health employee you will also benefit from:  Salary packaging options to increase your take home pay.
