A job to be proud of: As the Administration Officer – Kununurra , you will be at the heart of the Sub Centre's operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of vital services to the local community. Your role will involve providing critical administrative, financial, and operational support to both Country Ambulance Operations and the Sub Centre, helping to maintain the high standards of care St John WA is known for. By working closely with our dedicated team and volunteers, you'll make a real impact in ensuring that essential services run efficiently and effectively every day.
This permanent full-time position offers a Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm schedule, allowing you to balance a fulfilling career with a rewarding lifestyle. You'll be responsible for everything from processing payments and managing accounts to supporting first aid services and training courses, all while ensuring that our community receives the support they need when they need it most.
What you'll do: Provide high-level support to customers, resolving queries promptly. Administer first aid kit sales and advise on first aid training. Record and distribute correspondence; process PCRs/EPCRs for volunteer Sub Centres. Manage local payments, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable tasks. Assist with first aid training support, OSH reports, and supply orders. Support volunteer rostering, timecards, and record-keeping. Handle accounts duties like preparing purchase orders, payments, and banking. Ensure financial transactions are recorded and liaise with debtors/customers. What you'll need: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and established data entry skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Previous experience in Accounts Payable and customer service. Proven experience in administration and data entry. What's in it for you?
