Administration Officer

Details of the offer

At McNab we recruit people who want more than just the average job. The people who thrive are the ones who love a dynamic and customer-focused environment where you control the outcomes you get day to day.
We are looking for a self-motivated and professional Administration Officer to join our Toowoomba team. As the front of house & first point of contact for visitors, this role will suit someone passionate about the reception position and enjoy building relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. While we are ideally seeking a full-time candidate for this role, we are open to flexibility for the right person.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Greeting internal and external visitors, making people feel welcome and attending to their needs. Managing multiple meeting room calendars, collaborating with people across all offices with a solution-focused mindset. Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, reception, and meeting rooms. Answering and directing telephone calls for the entire business on a busy switchboard. Booking travel, accommodation, pool cars, and catering as required. Order and maintain stock of stationery, business cards, and office supplies. Collect and distribute all incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail and courier bookings. Work closely with the Executive Assistants to coordinate and run personal errands and complete ad-hoc administration tasks for Senior Management. Support the Project teams with archiving and other document management tasks. Your passion for variety coupled with a desire for helping others will see you succeed in this role. As the successful candidate you will:
Show a high-level working knowledge of MS Office & Teams. Have proven experience in a similar role. Be able to work effectively within a team consistently. Enjoy a fast-paced environment. Possess strong communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business. About McNab McNab is one of the largest Construction, Development, and Property groups in Australia, with turnover now exceeding $1bn each year. Despite our growth and size, we've never lost our small company DNA - which centres around genuine care for our staff, customers, and all our stakeholders. Success for us isn't about awards or growth, it's when we deliver so well that our customers are proud to wear a McNab T-Shirt on weekends!
We genuinely care. We make it easy. We deliver certainty. This is our promise - to our clients, and everyone we deal with. Delivering on these three things really, really well is what drives us at McNab. Everything we do, from recruiting and training to performance and promotion, centres around this promise.
We leverage the entire McNab Group to deliver certainty for our clients at a time of unprecedented uncertainty in the industry. And our approach works. From delivering our own property developments, to manufacturing our own building products, and a plethora of aligned businesses, your career at McNab goes well beyond traditional construction roles.
McNab benefits: Birthday leave. Annual health and fitness subsidy. Parental leave program. Access to the Employee Assistance Program. Internal development opportunities through tailored training programs. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a strong career with a reputable construction company that genuinely cares about the development of all staff - if this is something you want to be a part of APPLY NOW!
