About the Region
The South Burnett Region is ideally situated just 2 - 3 hours' drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. About the Role
Based in NanangoMaximum Term Full Time (up to 12 months)$66K - $69K per annum

Council is seeking an officer to provide high level administrative support to the Coordinator Infrastructure Services to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Infrastructure department. This position will provide administrative support to the General Manager and Works, Planning and Water and Wastewater branches and effectively manage customer services requests and complaints through effective questioning and ensure effective follow through.
Mandatory Qualifications

Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver's licence

Desirable Qualifications

Certificate III in Business Administration

Skills and Experience
Please address the following key selection criteria items below, as part of your application:

Proven experience providing administrative assistance in an office environment with local or public works experience being highly regarded.
Sound organisational skills with the ability to establish work priorities, complete assigned tasks within required standards and meet deadlines.
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally and maintain relationships at all levels.
Sound computer skills including sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and corporate software systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
