About the role: The Administration Officer, Pilbara will: Provide high quality PA and administration support to the Manager Pilbara & NT and administrative support to the Greater Pilbara Services and WA/NT administration team.
Liaise as required with staff from MacKillop's Offices, as well as staff from a wide range of government and non-government agencies as required.
Oversee the local integration and alignment of all 'back office' functions, including contracting and standards, policy implementation, community relations, finance and business services and human resource management in partnership with relevant MacKillop staff locally and at head office.
This is a Fixed Term Full time until 12/01/2025 with the possibility of early cessation or extension opportunity based in Port Hedland, WA within our Western Australia (WA) / Northern Territory (NT) Services Program.
The position reports to the Manager Pilbara & NT.
Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families Demonstrated high-level administrative experience.
High skills levels around the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), as well as Outlook and Skype The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, professional team.
A high level of initiative, ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
