About the role
We are now seeking an Administration Officer for our modern Carnegie facility to provide effective, timely, engaging, and efficient administrative support.
This role is the first impression of the home, so your exceptional customer service skills and natural ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders are highly regarded.
This is a fixed term part-time position till the end of February.
Your key responsibilities: Concierge, welcoming residents, families, friends, and community membersKey focus on staff rostering and payroll record managementPrepare, update, and maintain client files and information systems to ensure all information and documentation is on hand and accurateWork closely with the leadership team and other Jewish Care staff to support our clientsSeek to understand the context of the Jewish Community and apply sensitivity to relationshipsTo be successful in this role you will have: A supportive, patient, understanding, and respectful approach towards older people.Minimum 2 years' experience in administration/customer service roles and rostering experience ideally in a medical or aged care organisationDemonstrated customer service competencies, ideally in face-to-face contextsHighly developed time management skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Qualification in Business Administration or similar would be beneficialMS Office proficiency, excellent typing, and word processing skillsDesirable: Understanding of the Jewish culture and community, or willingness to develop understanding.Bilingual (Hebrew, Russian, Yiddish) would be advantageous.The benefits of working with Jewish Care: Generous not-for-profit Salary Packaging to increase your take-home pay!Employee Assistance for you and your familyFree onsite staff car parking at our aged care facilitiesCareer development & advancement encouragedStaff Referral Bonus ProgramIf the idea of working with an organisation that values your expertise and is committed to the wellbeing of our staff and clients appeals to you, click APPLY now.
