About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Administration Officers to work on a part-time basis over 7 days. This is a busy role where you are the first point of contact for our patients, visitors, and staff. You should love working in a dynamic role meeting and greeting, managing phones, and completing administrative work.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. Your duties will include: Answer and redirect callsPrepare admission paperworkMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co-paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryMinimum Requirements: Previous reception/administration experiencePrior experience in the health industry would be advantageousAbility to work autonomously and demonstrate initiativeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shiftsExperience working with patient management system (Desirable)Why Healthscope?
