Children, Youth & Family Services (CYF) is a leading Child Safety provider throughout QLD. CYF team members play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people are offered a safe and stable environment to reach their goals. About this opportunity: The Administration Officer will provide administrative support to the service delivery team within the department. Key responsibilities of this role: Provide administrative support to various roles and functions within the Children, Youth & Family Services function of Southern Cross Support Services. Provide timely and responsive communication to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up to date records, databases, and systems. Input and manage data in various applications and systems. Attend and participate in meetings for minute taking and administrative insights. Generate reports and assist with data as required for reporting requirements. Contribute to process improvements and document creation / updates. Assist with other operational administrative tasks as required To succeed in this role you will have: Experience working in an administrative role within the community services sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and other organisational tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate with managers and employees and in some cases, stakeholders and clients. Excellent organisation & attention to detail skills along with the ability to multitask Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A positive attitude and having a willingness to learn.
