The Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our Emergency Department team on a part-time, 24/7 roster.

About the Role As the Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Emergency Department operates smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional administrative support to clients, staff, and visitors.
You will be the friendly face and voice of our hospital, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
Key responsibilities include: Attend to client enquiries via telephone and in person, providing relevant advice or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinate appointment bookings for services offered by the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network at the Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Greet and assist visitors at the reception area, ensuring they feel valued and are directed appropriately.
Assist with sorting, processing, and distributing both electronic and hard copy correspondence as directed.
Essential Criteria Experience & Knowledge: Proven competency in computer usage and Microsoft Office, with experience in administrative support, record-keeping systems, and an understanding of quality assurance practices and the Freedom of Information Act.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage positively with clients and staff.
Self-Motivation & Time Management: Self-driven with strong time management skills, capable of working independently under pressure while adhering to established practices and guidelines.
