About us headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues.
The multidisciplinary team at headspace works to improve health, social, vocational, and educational outcomes for young people.
Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Bega, and its branch; headspace Cooma.
We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high-quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
About the position The Administration / Reception Officer will be based at the Cooma branch of our headspace Bega service and will work collaboratively with the broader headspace Bega team, including participating in team-based meetings.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative services to support the delivery of the activities of the headspace office.
You will:
Provide administration support for the overall day-to-day functioning of the office. Work flexibly and collaboratively with other administrative staff to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient administration services to meet the needs of the organisation. Deliver customer service to young people, friends and family, and service providers over the phone and at reception. Be responsible for data collection and process improvement projects as required by the Manager. Provide general coordination of Cooma hub and its associated outposts, with the support of the Senior Administration Officer. This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week), fixed term to 30 June 2026 with a strong possibility for extension.
We are looking for someone with: Relevant training and experience in administration in a fast-paced environment.
Previous medical administration experience is an advantage. Exceptional customer service skills including being approachable, polite, friendly, and helpful. Demonstrated ability to effectively organise and plan your work to ensure deadlines are met.
