You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and solid IT skills to ensure the home's administrative processes are streamlined and effective. You'll have great interpersonal skills and enjoy being the first person to greet visitors, families and loved ones to the Home; and be a go-to person for general enquiries.
A friendly sociable personality coupled with empathy and compassion for the elderly will make you a perfect fit for this client-centred "front of house" role.
Some of your duties will include but not be limited to: Assisting with new admissions to the homeLiaising with the Residential Manager when vacancies occur to ascertain type of Resident requiredMaintaining relevant documentation (eg Resident lists) at the direction of the Residential ManagerLiaising with residents and their families to support the transition into care from an administrative perspectivePreparing records for new residentsCoordinating and assisting the manager with rostering as requiredMaintaining of various computer databasesReception duties – face to face and over the phoneProcessing of invoices in preparation for payment and maintenance of petty cashMaintaining staff personal records including registrations and certificatesAssisting in minute taking for committee meetings as requiredWhat will you bring to the role? Experience working in an administrative role within Aged Care or Health care setting (desired)Administrative and reception experienceUnderstanding of staff rostersExcellent written, oral and numerical skillsProblem solving skills and ability to prioritise tasksExcellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of peopleHigh level information technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsHow can you apply?
