Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

What you'll be doing
In this role you will oversee the administrative support services at Auburn Hospital. Key duties include managing staff, maintaining systems, and ensuring top-notch support for patients and staff. Your responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising administrative staff
Maintaining and improving hospital systems
Developing and implementing policies and procedures
Ensuring high-quality customer support
Promoting efficient and effective operations

Selection Criteria:
Proven recent experience in a supervisory role in an administrative environment
Comprehensive knowledge of NSW Health Policies including those relevant to health administration and governance and information management
Skills and experience in the development and implementation of both administrative systems and processes.
Experience in Emergency Department administration and data management, including ability to correct and manage data in relevant systems e.g. FirstNet.
Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications and an array of corporate applications including HPE, Oracle, Health Roster and/or ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in dealing with a range of health professionals and the efficient provision of health information and data relevant to emergency department performance and trends.
Demonstrated advanced organisational skills including the ability to manage competing demands in a busy environment and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated competent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
