Due to internal growth, diverse local logistics company based in Townsville is seeking a punctual, reliable, honest and enthusiastic Full time Administration officer to join our small team on a 4 on 4 off rotating roster.
Duties: (not limited to)
• Management of office area - telephone, face to face and email communications;
• Answer client enquiries efficiently and professionally;
• Accurate Data entry into various MS and internal/external online programs;
• Logging/entering jobs and ensure complete and correct documentation;
• Coordinating stock in and outs with correct documentation;
• Assist with compliance and induction processes;
• Assisting HR with the onboarding of new employees;
• Assisting Operations with day to day requirements;
• Filing and scanning;
• General housekeeping of work area;
• General administration duties
Your attributes:
• Eagerness to learn with positive working attitude and willingness to be trained in the applied role;
• Excellent communication - written and verbal;
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• High attention to detail with a systematic approach & ability to multitask;
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to time manage and meet deadlines;
• Ability to contribute as a valued team member and commitment to confidentiality;
• Minimum 2 year experience; Previous Logistics experience highly regarded;
• Own transport;
• May be required to undergo employment medical (Inc D&A) and Australian police check.
• Above Award Wages - based on experience (to be discussed at interview stage)
