We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THE ROLE Based at our Whitsundays Depot (Cannonvale), we are seeking a reliable, genuine, experienced Administration Assistant | Accounts Payable Administrator. You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrated high level customer service skills.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General administration and office support Accounts payable administration Ensure the highest standards of customer service Answering inbound calls and responding to telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up and escalations Processing of confidential documentation accurately, efficiently and within required timeframe Complete service bookings and PO requests Filing and archiving Capability to understand and document systems, processes, and procedures Working to timelines to ensure all work is completed with required timeframe ABOUT YOU Previous experience in Administration / Accounts Payable Administration - essential Proactive attitude, a strong team player and great work ethic Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail Ability to learn new internal programs and technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well-developed time management and work to timelines A strong understanding of the importance of building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
