Administration Assistant To The Director Of Curriculum

Administration Assistant to the Director of Curriculum Townsville Grammar School is currently seeking an experienced administration professional to provide high-level secretarial and administrative assistance to the Director of Curriculum. This is a full-time permanent role.
Specific accountabilities of the role include:
Maintain and manage accurate information in database and software packages directly relating to the Director of Curriculum's position. Update documents, databases and reports for which the Director of Curriculum is responsible. Support the Director of Curriculum with special projects relating to that position. Communicate with external educational organisations. Assist with communications from Townsville Grammar School such as newsletters and mail-outs, either electronically or in hard copy. Manage calendar, meetings and diary of the Director of Curriculum for appointments with parents, staff and students. Take accurate meeting minutes and collate resources for Curriculum Leaders meetings and ensure dissemination to all parties. The ideal candidate will have extensive administrative experience, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will have:
A high level of accuracy in maintaining databases and other records. A demonstrated ability to communicate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders including students, parents, teachers and other members of the School community. A high level of discretion and confidentiality. The ability to multi-task and manage multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities. Excellent Word and Excel skills. The successful applicant will also have or be willing and able to obtain a paid Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
