About the role Brock Building Systems is seeking a skilled and organised Administration Assistant to join our team in Mornington, Tasmania on a full-time basis (part-time may be considered for the right applicant). As part of our Administration and Office Support team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing Providing administrative support to the wider team, most commonly the Director, General Manager and Accounts & Administration OfficerProviding a customer-focused service for accounts enquiries and promptly respond to or direct enquiriesPerforming basic office accounting functions such as bank reconciliationsHandling a variety of clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparationAssisting with the processing of invoices, expenses, and other financial recordsMaintaining debtor and creditor accountsAssisting with end of month payroll obligations such superannuation and payroll tax lodgments Answering and directing incoming phone calls and emails with professionalismOrdering and maintaining office supplies and equipmentUndertaking ad-hoc administrative tasks as requiredWhat we're looking for Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative roleExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approachProficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookHigh attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressureA team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to workAbout us Brock Building Systems is a family owned building supplies business located in Mornington Tasmania, and a leader in supplying building and construction materials with an extensive range of products selling into the Tasmanian market. We supply both trade and retail customers and specialise in building products, plumbing and hardware requirements.
