As a Administration Assistant you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of the workers compensation claims process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include everything from data entry and claims lodgement to finalising claims and closing files.
Perform all administrative functions required in the claims process for all workers compensation claimsHandle data entry, claims lodgement, and claims payments including follow-ups on invoicesMedical certificate recordingDeal with all general enquiriesMaintain quality assurance and adhere to service level agreementsAssist Claim Consultant as neededWhat you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Administration Assistant position brings a wealth of experience in administration or data entry, along with strong communication and conflict resolution skills. You're comfortable working in a small team environment and have an excellent ability to manage competing deadlines. While familiarity with the Workers Compensation Act – Tasmania, experience with Workers Compensation Claims Handling, or specific knowledge of JLT operations would be desirable, these are not essential requirements. What's most important is your commitment to delivering positive outcomes and your ability to handle administrative tasks with empathy, integrity, and tact.
1 -2 years' experience in administration/data entryStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work effectively in a small team environmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlineAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
