Lives Lived Well are excited to be opening a brand-new service in Caloundra, supporting young people across the Sunshine Coast with mental and physical wellbeing.
Your Opportunity We are looking for two experienced administrators who have a positive attitude and a keen interest in working with and supporting young people through mental health issues.
The role will be dynamic and varied so you'll need to have a broad knowledge and be interested in developing your skills further.
You will be the first point of contact for all young people, their families, community groups and other stakeholders.
You will support a smooth transition through the service and provide administrative support across our multidisciplinary team and providers.
Your daily tasks will include answering and/or re-directing inquiries as appropriate, manage client appointments, maintaining client records and processing bulk billing claims to Medicare, amongst other duties.
As a newly established centre, we are currently developing our guidelines and frameworks.
You will excel in this role if you have a proactive attitude and enjoy problem-solving.
We currently have two part time vacancies in the team with flexible work hours.
Working in a small but impactful team, you will work in a dynamic and fast paced environment where no two days are the same.
Our work can get busy at times, and it is important that you are able to work well under pressure, collaboratively with others and have the ability to problem solve on the spot.
The gross hourly pay rate is $33.42 per hour to $36.46 per hour plus super.
The salary on offer will depend on the successful candidate's skills, knowledge, and experience.
What are we looking for?
With a solid foundation in administration in a health care setting, you will be someone who loves working in small team and is happy to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to do what needs doing.
Your "can do" attitude, and positive approach will be coupled with: Adaptability and an agile approach – you'll be answering phones, meeting, and greeting, providing support with medical records, and maintaining client files Being confident and comfortable interacting with young people – your warm manner and welcoming demeanour will be essential in this service Ability to manage your own workload, including prioritising duties and multi-tasking – you'll enjoy interfacing with headspace National Office, and our Southport and Upper Coomera offices to action documentation and administration Having an inclusive attitude and a background working with diverse groups including LGBTIQAP+, CALD, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities Previous experience in the process of Medicare Bulk Billing including claims and documentation – or an appetite to learn Love working with talented people who are humble, human, and full of hope.

You will need to hold an Australian Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
